It’s the run-up to Christmas. That means it is time to climb up in the loft and get down the Christmas decorations and put up the lights on the front of the house. All being well will get the Christmas tree up as well, as long as we can find the room with all the computer equipment that has had to be set up as a result of working from home!
It also means it is time for the final chaos of Christmas shopping. There is something about the way the majority of people shop at Christmas. Manners and common courtesy go completely out of the window. They just barge through with no consideration for others as if their life depended on it! What with that and the fact that everything seems to be at its most expensive at this time of year because the retailers are out to cash in on Christmas. The peace and goodwill aspect of Christmas has been almost completely forgotten!
