I have just had a week away from work, not that I could have a week away from home thanks to the lockdown. This morning I fired up my work laptop and, surprise surprise, I was welcomed by an avalanche of email. Five minutes later I had deleted all the unnecessary messages. That slimmed things down a bit. The next thing was to go through all the meeting invites. After that, it was time to concentrate on all the messages that mattered. It was at that point that all the benefits of having a week off vanished! I suspect, that by the end of the day, I will be feeling like I need a break again!!
